Take Heed
Exodus 34
Moses’ face was shining when he came down from Mount Sinai.
The commandments of God are for our own protection; they are not meant to restrain us. The people had been living without rules, and they were creating chaos.
When we choose to obey God’s commandments, our lives begin to shine just like Moses’ face. Things start to go well, and we receive peace. I know it is not always easy, but it is worth it.
God then renews His covenant with the people and promises to do awesome things and destroy all their enemies. But He also warns them to take heed and commands them to destroy their altars and cut down their wooden images.
As long as we are alive, there is still a way to repent and return to Jesus. It does not matter how dirty or unworthy you may feel because of past choices—God wants to renew His covenant with you too. But you need to be willing to surrender your old life so you can receive a new one. It’s just a matter of decision.
He sees you right now. He hears you. Talk to Him.
Look up, child 🙏
There is no other way. He is the Way, the Truth, and the Light.
